Trippz raps both as a solo artist as well as playing a role with Kryple and NineLivez in Doom Squad, with both the group and Trippz himself based out of Edmonton. Being recognized for effortlessly intertwining rap flows and singing, Trippz's sound is as abrasive and in your face as it is melodic and soothing. Trippz has never stayed consistently with any one style of urban music. He's not to be confined to a single style or genre and has a multitude of diverse songs for all tastes and moods. “My teacher told me I should just make the music, make it true to me, and the listeners will classify me all on their own. That really resonated with me.”
Trippz is known for rocking the stage for large crowds, having opened up forrappers like Method Man and Redman, J. Cole, Tech N9ne, Machine Gun Kelly, Yelawolf and Canadian artists Merkules, Swollen Members and Lil Windex. Not only has Trippz Performed at Boonstock and Shambhala Music Festivals, he has toured Canada several times, most recently for Doomsquad’s 36 show “LSD” tour. Once, after seeing Doom Squads performance while opening for Hopsin in Edmonton, Hopsin
requested to have them continue with him on tour, resulting in Trippz and his partners being added to the rest of the western Canada dates.
Most recently, Trippz has been steadily dropping a healthy string of single releases. Since January of 2019, Trippz has been consistently releasing singles at an energetic, fast pace. Collectively, Trippz has played a major role in 7 albums, having 2 solo albums and 5 group projects, 4 with Doom Squad and 1 Boombox Disciples not
to mention the countless features he can be found on. He's toured 5 times and the
